Privacy policy
A big band is loud by profession. With personal data we are quiet and frugal: we collect only what we need to tell you when we are playing and to answer you when you write. We sell none of it — below is exactly what happens to each piece of data.

Visiting the website
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure traffic. The service uses no cookies and builds no visitor profiles; the data is aggregated (page views, country, device type, referrer) and does not identify you. The processor is Vercel Inc.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which temporarily records your IP address in server logs for the operation and security of the service. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of running the website.
Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from an external network — your IP address is therefore not passed to any font provider when you visit.
Cookies
The site uses no cookies — neither its own nor third party, neither for analytics nor for advertising. There is therefore no need for a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
The only thing we store in your browser is your theme and
language choice, in the browser’s local storage
(localStorage, keys bbg-tema,
bbg-skin and bbg-lang). These entries stay on
your device, are never sent anywhere and do not
identify you. You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your
browser.
The only exception is the video player: YouTube may set cookies, and only once you start a recording. Details are in the next section.
Embedded recordings (YouTube)
Nothing is fetched from YouTube before you click — we
host the thumbnails ourselves. Clicking play loads YouTube’s player,
and from that moment their terms apply. We use the
youtube-nocookie.com mode, which limits advertising
cookies.
Once you start a recording, a connection to Google’s servers is established and from that moment the terms and privacy policy of Google apply; Google may process your IP address and device data. If you do not want this, do not start the recording — everything else on the site works without it.
Newsletter
We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) as a processor for sending the newsletter. On subscription we process your email address.
- On submitting the form the subscription is recorded directly. Double opt-in, where you would confirm a link from an email before being added to the list, is not enabled for now, because confirmation emails are not yet activated at the provider. Once they are, we will enable it and update this section.
- The form is submitted directly from your browser to Brevo’s servers, so Brevo also sees your IP address.
- Every message contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing is immediate and unconditional.
- We keep your address until you unsubscribe, after which we delete it.
- The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before submitting and may withdraw at any time. The tick itself is not sent to Brevo — we process only your email address.
Contact forms
The forms for organisers and for joining the orchestra send messages through Web3Forms (Web3Forms LLP), acting as a processor: it forwards the message to our address info@bigband-grosuplje.com and does not use it for its own purposes.
We process the data you enter: name, email address, the message and, when joining, the area of involvement (instrumentalist, vocalist, technical support). The legal basis is carrying out the communication at your request. We keep messages in our mailbox for as long as they are needed to handle the enquiry, and then delete them.
These forms are also submitted directly from your browser to the Web3Forms servers, so they too see your IP address. The message is forwarded to us by email and not kept for their own purposes.
Both forms contain a hidden field for detecting automated submissions (a honeypot). Do not enter anything in it — it is meant for bots.
What we never do with your data
We do not sell personal data, we do not rent it out and we do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes. We use it solely for the purposes described above.
Your rights
At any time you may request access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and you may withdraw your consent. Write to info@bigband-grosuplje.com. If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (ip-rs.si).
Changes
We update this policy whenever we add or remove a service. Last change: 31 August 2026.
